Nabco trainees express how life is unbearable for two months unpaid stipends

The Nation Builders Corps employees lament over delayed system of payment of their due stipend since the introduction of this initiative. Employees of the Nations Builders Corps ,NABCO  have threatened to boycott work over the government failure to pay their due stipend at the end of the month, meanwhile government workers have already received their salaries

In an interview with some of the employees of the corps, they emphasized how life has become unbearable for them since the government refusal to settle them.

” We can’t handle this hardship again, the government should pay us Nabco, in fact we are graduates and we won’t sit for such hardships to happen to us, we are humbly waiting for our stipend to be paid”, they cried.

More over, they narrated that, if indeed the officials of the program would handle it this way ,then the government should prepare to face their wrath coming 2024 election.

“We support the government but if we are going to work without payments and we need to rely on our parents for survival then indeed coming 2024 , we will show them as we did to the opposition party, if the government don’t want such to happen , then they should pay us as soon as possible”, they expressed.
